The Construction Project Manager position has responsibility for the direction, organization and administration of Planning and Construction in the ministry. This position will be assigned to the working location Via Christi Hospital St. Francis - Wichita, KS. The Construction Project Manager will assist with and manages the design, planning, estimating and construction for projects within the ministry while coordinating with contractors and staff. It reviews and assures compliance with all engineering - related safety codes, regulations, and accrediting agencies as they apply to construction in healthcare facilities. It participates in developing and monitoring Quality Assurance for all construction projects. The Construction Project Manager is expected to apply principles of leadership, human relations, and continuous quality improvement in the overall management, coordination, and development of Planning and Construction. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning a project and seeing that it is completed successfully, within the given deadline. He/she will oversee the planning and implementation of multiple projects and modifies and creates schedules as required.
