Medxcel Facilities Management is seeking talented individuals for our Summer of 2018 internship program!

As an intern with Medxcel, you will work on projects that impact our growth and have real world application to our business. We have openings in the following functional departments:

  • Marketing
  • Training
  • Implementation/Operations
  • Landscaping
  • Healthcare Facility Management including Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Engineering, Systems and Process Optimization, Overall Facility Management
  • Planning, Design, and Construction

  • Austin, Texas
  • Birmingham, Alabama



  • All aspects of the facilities maintenance industry and how they support the overall success of healthcare facilities.
  • How Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources partner and interconnect in order to move the business forward.
  • Valuable project management and process improvement skills.
  • How to develop and deliver meaningful presentations, including managing interactions with senior leadership.
  • Key time management skills, including goal setting and prioritization.

You will be working with a senior leader within our organization as a mentor. Through this relationship, you will learn how to leverage a mentoring relationship inside a dynamic business environment.



  • Participation in a Bachelors program in either Engineering, Business, Marketing, Agriculture or Horticulture,
  • Must have completed Sophomore or Junior year of college
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office
  • A genuine interest in healthcare and facilities management
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Availability for summer work beginning in late May 2018 and continuing through mid-August 2018
