The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist collaborates with the Talent Acquisition team within the Medxcel Facilities Management Central Office - Indianapolis, IN, to facilitate the staffing process and execute talent acquisition sourcing activities. This position is accountable to follow direction from the Talent Acquisition Manager in sourcing, developing source channels, and routing candidates of both technical and non-technical talent. The Specialist provides consultation and recommendations based on a solid understanding of talent market conditions, competitive intelligence, and other activities, as directed by the Team Lead and Manager.

 

At a high level, the sourcer helps marshal talent in our direction.  The sourcer promotes our current and anticipated jobs through a variety of channels such as social media, job-advertisements, and partnerships with schools and the military.  The sourcer works closely with each member of the recuiting/talent acquisition team to understand current and projected talent needs and gets the word out to attract the right people for our growing workforce.  The sourcer will conduct limited phone screens as well as engage in email/chat dialogs with prospective applicants; the sourcer owns and maintains the talent pipeline.

Responsibilities

Build and Execute Sourcing Plan:

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to understand position requirements; assist with position profile development and define the sourcing tactics.
  • Initiate and sustain a rigorous outbound contact attempt tempo with suspect-candidates and contacts.
  • Build and execute sourcing plan; communicate with multiple networking contacts, applicants, and references.
  • Evaluate sourced contacts based on position profile; determine if candidates are appropriate for current or future openings.
  • Maintain a highly visible company presence on external website and other sundry media venues.
  • Maintain an on-going list of contacts and candidates of interest and opportunities.
  • Achieve sustained performance according to agreed-upon department metrics.

Talent Acquisition Projects: 

  • Maintain Talent Acquisition Sourcing metrics; update reports and tools to reflect input and progress.
  • Assist with programs and projects; work with schools and associations to maintain a program which adds value to the organization.
  • Utilize Talent Acquisition database
  • Drive continuous enhancements to Career Seeker site.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in phone sales or outbound business development environment required.
  • Experience with an automated applicant tracking system (ATS), CRM, or sales automation tool and internet resume sourcing required.
  • Experience engaging both professionals and technically skilled trade personnel required.
  • Experience in a multi-site service operation preferred.
  • Experience engaging in a healthcare, scientific, and/or clinical personnel preferred.
  • Familiar with competency-based interviewing techniques and methodologies preferred.

Competencies:

  • Skilled in using an automated applicant tracking system (ATS) and internet resume sourcing required.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare services.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Ability to manage time and set priorities amidst multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and interviewing skills.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
