Construction Data Analyst III (e-Builder Support)

The Construction Data Analyst III is an advanced professional position within Medxcel, working at the assigned location of St. Elizabeth Hospital - Appleton, WI. The Construction Data Analyst III will be responsible for developing and maintaining reporting tools using project data, Excel, and business intelligence tools. The Analyst will identify missing project data from eBuilder and create plans for obtaining missing data. This person will work with System Analysts on techniques for acquiring data and making system improvements. Organize project data into numerous forms for communication with Medxcel leadership. Manage the approved vendor database and vendor certificates of insurance program. This role will also be responsible for performing various ad hoc reports from eBuilder, Excel, and Tableau or other programs.

• Develop and maintain reporting tools using eBuilder project data, Excel, and Business Intelligence tools. Create and maintain reports of project status, budgets, workforce, and other critical information across the portfolio of projects
• Verify project data for historical cost archive/database, manage the files and create related reports. Verify that information is correct by using eBuilder, Peoplesoft, and the project team. Enter required information into our Excel database and perform various reporting of the data
• Maintain and develop various sorting and filtering in the database
• Manage the vendor insurance database and updates performed by admin support. This includes managing the Microsoft Access database Review monthly insurance updates and expiring coverages for approved vendors. Manage the updates performed by the team member and take action as required. Microsoft Access skills are required
• Develop professional reports and graphics for leadership as directed. Use this data to analyze trends, status, problems, etc. This will be performed using eBuilder, Excel, Tableau, and other communication forms
• Be a source of data and support for the Controls team and Project Managers. This includes being the source of information from all of our systems - eBuilder, Peoplesoft, Kaufman Hall, etc. Be able to handle various calls for support and information on budgets, finance/accounting information, status, etc. that exists in the various systems
• Problem solving— identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skilfully
• Planning/organizing— prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and develop realistic action plans
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, including technology, tools, and processes

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access is required along with working knowledge of eBuilder and Tableau or similar business intelligence tools

• Critical thinking skills – ability to gather, synthesize, analyze information to objectively draw conclusions, make reasonable decisions, and provide solutions and communicate the situation, action, and result clearly and concisely

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree, required

 Experience:

• 5-8 years experience in data analysis, required
• Experience in construction and/or design field, preferred
