    The Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) Support Technician I will provide support for the organization’s database application system and technology at the working location of our Central Office - Indianapolis, IN. This position provides technical assistance on the database application to all end users within the organization. This position uses best data practices to manage and maintain the data with the use of data analytical tools. The CMMS Support Technician I will comply with data management policies in conjunction with the Manager CMMS. The CMMS Support Tech I will also gather data requirements from customers for use in reporting and business intelligence.

    Responsibilities

    CMMS Support:

    • Primary responsibility for the position is supporting CMMS Administrator for daily operational changes to the database
    • Responsible for gathering, compiling and documenting data with regard to processes and/or systems
    • Accountable for projects to expand software responsibility and coverage including new building acquisition and incorporating other departments into the CMMS system

     

    Data Management:

    • Processes requests to update/add/delete data in the database
    • Implements the appropriate controls to maintain the integrity of Facilities Management’s CMMS
    • Maintains data management system for facilities management, including formatting, nomenclature, structure and architecture for inputting data consistently into the database

     

    Data Analytics and Reporting:

    • Gathers data requirements from customers for use in reporting and business intelligence
    • Functions as a report writer and creates custom reports using the database’s tools and third party software
    • Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports from FSI to support operational needs
    • Provides support to Information Service on for the automation of customer reports, financial projects (operating and capital) and asset management

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Associate's degree in related field required or equivalent experience 
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar course of study preferred

    Experience:

    • Data analysis experience required
    • Competent in all Microsoft applications required
    • SQL experience preferred
