He or she will also provide overall planning and assists in setting the strategic direction to achieve operational and financial goals for all safety, utility and building systems. This position maintains physical plants at peak efficiency and minimum cost by performing such duties as preventive and corrective maintenance scheduling, energy management and regulatory compliance. The Vice President of Environmental Services oversees the contract for all EVS services for a designated group of Ascension hospitals and medical office buildings.  This position leads a team of professionals that create, maintain and ensure compliance of the policies, procedures, and processes of the contract.   The VP of EVS holds primary responsibility for implementing standardization and optimization of all EVS operations.    The VP of EVS has an in-depth understanding of EVS solutions that support exceptional patient satisfaction in healthcare facilities. The VP of EVS has experience driving patient satisfaction while driving operational cost savings.
